Who We Are
The Egyptian Student Association (ESA) at the University of Calgary is a welcoming community for students of all backgrounds who want to explore Egyptian culture, history, cuisine, and traditions. We aim to create a space where friendships grow and cultural appreciation thrives.
What We Do
ESA organizes cultural, social, and educational activities that connect students on campus. From casual gatherings to large celebrations, we provide opportunities to learn, share, and enjoy Egyptian heritage together.

We help Egyptian international students settle into life at the University of Calgary while inviting the wider student body to experience Egyptian traditions. Our events build cultural awareness, strengthen connections, and create memories that last beyond university life.
